Children: For insurance reasons, children under 12 years of age are not permitted in waiting or service areas or treatment rooms unless they are receiving a service. This if for their safety because of sharp objects, hot equipment, etc. that may be present in the room. This is also to insure that you as well as other guests receive the best experience possible. Please arrange for childcare prior to visit or your appointment will need to be rescheduled.
Scheduling an Appointment: Salon and Spa services are available by appointment on a daily basis. We take walk-ins but recommend calling ahead to ensure availability. A credit card or Gift Certificate number is required to reserve all spa services totaling more than 2hrs.
Product Returns: Products may be returned for in-store credit or exchange only.
Gift Certificates: Gift Certificates are non-refundable but are transferable to another person for a $2.50 fee. Gift Certificates can be redeemed for services or retail products only. Gift Certificates must be presented at time of services or present photo ID that matches the name on the gift certificate. If your gift certificate is expired AND you no longer have it in your possession AND we do not have record of the Gift certificate, we cannot honor it. The expiration date is only to guarantee the price of a specific service. If there has been a price increase on the service listed and it is being used after the expiration date, you will have to pay the difference in price. The dollar amount never expires.
Cancellation Policy: All of our staff works on commission, therefore we request a courtesy call of 24 hours cancellation notice for all spa services. Cancellations less than 24 hours prior to appointment time will be charged 50% of each service scheduled. A No Show will be charged 100% of each service scheduled. All fees will be charged to the credit card or Gift Certificate on file.
Please note the length of service sessions listed are approximations and may vary. We will make every effort to accommodate your request when you arrive for your appointment. Please be considerate of our technicians & their families.
Spa Information: You are required to arrive 15mins prior to your scheduled appointment time to fill out the appropriate paper work & to allow for clothing changes. LATE: We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals if we have the availability. If you are running late, we kindly as that you call ahead so we can better assess the situation. If you arrive 10 minutes past the scheduled appointment time, you will be rescheduled so that you can receive the full benefit of the service you are scheduling for. You will be responsible for the full payment of the original service.
Cell Phones: Out of consideration for all Scarborough’s guests, please silence your cell phone. Cell phone use is not permitted in the spa area. Our front desk can assist you with any questions if needed.
Children 11 & Under are not recommended to receive massages. Children 12-16 years must have a parent or legal guardian fill out a consent form before receiving a massage.
Tipping: Tipping is not required but greatly appreciated by all staff members. Tipping is your choice & the amount is solely at your discretion.
For Your Comfort
Please be assured that your safety is our ultimate goal. All salons, spa materials, and equipment have been professionally sanitized for each guest.
As a precaution, please do not wax or shave your legs 24 hours before receiving a pedicure and avoid tanning 24-48 hours before and after hair removal services.
To preserve the results of your pedicure service, please allow at least 1 hour for the nail lacquer to adequately dry. As a courtesy to our guests, disposable flip flops are available free of charge and can be worn after your service.
For your comfort, smoking is not permitted in Scarborough’s Salon & Day Spa.
We request that you leave all jewelry and other valuables at home as Scarborough’s Salon & Day Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
For your convenience during spa services towels, robes, slippers, and lockers for personal items are provided. While we do provide spa sandals for you to wear, you are also welcome to bring your own if you wish.
Payment is accepted at the end of your visit at the guest service desk. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, debit cards, checks, or cash as forms of payment. If a Scarborough’s Salon & Day Spa gift card is your form of payment, we require that you bring your gift card with you and present it to the guest service representative upon checkout. **All salon & spa prices are subject to change without notification.
